Our Story

This story begins in heartbreak. After years of watching her father battle illness, the founder of Alpha Paws was devastated when he passed. In the midst of her grief, she brought home a puppy named Meeshka, hoping for a bit of comfort—and found so much more. Meeshka quickly became her best friend, but she also came with her own struggles, including anxiety that mirrored her new owner’s. Determined to help, she explored countless training techniques and behavior strategies. The more she learned, the more she discovered a natural ability—and passion—for working with dogs. This led her to enroll in a trade school specializing in canine behavior and psychology, where she earned her certification. Through it all, Meeshka was right there, growing alongside her. Today, Meeshka is more than just a loyal companion—she’s a leader among dogs, helping guide new pups and nervous owners alike, all while continuing to follow the one who believed in her from the beginning.
